Since childhood she has had an interest in spinning music watching her father. He owned and operated a sound ‘Shaka One’ and even had a record shop in Western Jamaica, West Indies. From the late 90’s, Selecta Princess has displayed much charm and musical knowledge wether club/radio djing, event hosting or internet promotions. Her specialization in reggae/dancehall has transitioned from skilled vinyl technician on the 1’s and 2’s to now the use of Serato DJ.

In the Atlanta FM market she has contributed to Caribbean American programming on WRAS (88.5), WCLK (91.9) and the station for progressive information WRFG (89.3). Selecta Princess has worked with various event promotors in almost every region and has a long standing respect level in Atlanta from working with Webba Promotions. Currently working with her brother Jah Prince at Sunsplash Media, they promote quality musical interests as they network the Caribbean culture worldwide.
